Travel to the Holy Land on an inspirational journey that visits some of the most ancient sites in the world.   Day 2     TEL AVIV, ISRAEL Arrive Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv. Our representative will help you through customs and take you to the bus where you will meet your guide. Transfer to our hotel. Tonight, welcome dinner at the hotel and overnight in Tel Aviv. (D)   Day 3 TEL AVIV - OLD JAFFA - CAESAREA - HAIFA - MOUNT CARMEL This morning we visit old Jaffa for Mass at the Church of St. Peter. We then drive to Haifa and Mount Carmel for a beautiful view of the city and a visit to the Carmelite Monastery and the Grotto of the Prophet Elijah. We continue driving on Mount carmel to the Monastery and Church of El Muhraka where Elijah challenged the prients of Baal. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)   Day 4 CANA - NAZARETH - TABOR Today we stop in Cana and visit the Church where Jesus performed His first public miracle at the wedding. We celebrate Mass and renew our wedding vows. Continue to Nazareth and visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary's Well. In the afternoon we drive up to Mount Tabor to visit the Church and the Monastery of the Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)   Day 5 SEA OF GALILEE - MOUNT OF BEATITUDES - CAPERNAUM TVisit Tiberiias and the sites around the Sea of Galilee: Mount of Beatitudes, Capernaum, St. Peter's Primacy, and Bethsaida. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.  Dinner and overnight. (B,D)   Day 6 JERICHO - JORDAN RIVER - DEAD SEA - BETHANY - JERUSALEM We drive through the Jordan Valley to Jericho to view the Mount of Temptation and the ruins of Old Jericho. Then to the baptismal site on the River Jordan where we will renew our baptismal vows. After stopping at the Dead Sea for a dip in its salty waters, we continue up to Bethany to visit the church built on the traditional site of the house of Mary and Martha and their brother Lazarus. Then to Jerusalem for overnight. (B,D) Day 7  MOUNT OF OLIVES - GETHESEMANE - BETHLEHEM - EIN KAREM We start at the Mount of Olives with a spectacular view of the Old City of Jerusalem. Then we visit the Church of Pater Noster, and down to the Church of Dominus Flevit, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. Continue to Behtlehem to vist the Church of the Nativity, Holy Manger, St. Catherine Basilica and then down to Shepards' Field. On the way back, we stop in Ein Karem to Visit the Church of the Visitation. Dinner and overnight. (B,D)   Day 8  JERUSALEM - OLD CITY - MOUNT ZION Early in the morning we walk the Stations of the Cross carrying a cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. After Mass, return to our hotel for breakfast. Back to the Old City to visit the Church of St. Anne, Pools of Bethesda, Ecce Homo and walk through the Cardo to the Wailing Wall. On Mount Zion, we visit the Upper Room and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. Then the group will have a farewell dinner in Jerusalem before heading to the airport for their flight home.
